A corn silk is the long, silky threads that grow on corncobs. Though it’s often discarded when corn is prepared for eating, it has been used for centuries as an herbal remedy in traditional Chinese and Native American medicine to help with blood pressure and heart function.

HOW TO DRINK
Fresh water is essential for brewing a great cup. Use 1 teabag per cup of boiling water. Cover and steep for 3 to 6 minutes. Remove tea bag and place in your compostable bin. Enjoy!

I just tried corn silk tea for the first time after reading it can calm cystitis. It’s very soothing and I’ve added it to waterfall d mannose and probiotics and find it’s working well. It tastes like sweetcorn (but not sweet) that I’ve always liked.
